Our Sunday School and Youth Group lessons for this week are based off of Zechariah 1-2.

Verse of the Week: “Cry out again, Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘My cities shall again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.”Zechariah 1:17

Here are a few questions you can ask your kids to help engage with them throughout the week:

1. Which of the three visions in this passage did you like the most? The least? Why?

2. How do you think Israel felt after coming back from exile? Of what did they need to be reminded?

3. What “enemy” can you bring before God today? Take some time to pray to God, offering your enemy up to Him and asking Him to defeat it.

Main Takeaway: Even though things seemed bleak in Israel, God was still at work and would make good on His promises. This is the same God we can trust today to defeat our enemies and bring us back into a relationship with Himself.
